Whether the fam knows or not the first step IMO is to sit down with your partner and dream up what your ideal elopement looks like, because its going to be different for every couple. Dream up, if money were no option. If you could do anything, be anywhere, and celebrate with exactly the people you want to celebrate with, how do you want to feel during your elopement?

The great thing about eloping is that you can get married anywhere you want. Are you drawn to the idea of saying “I do” on a mountaintop, in a gorgeous city park, or on a beach at sunset? Do you want to elope close to home or in a more exotic location? Spend some time exploring different options and choose the spot that feels right for you.
